I’ve had great times minnow and bobber fishing for northern pike 😜 , also live lining in Chesapeake bay for rockfish. But most of all I enjoy a spinning reel on the rocks/banks with light tackle the Potomac river in western Maryland for trout.However since I picked up bow hunting whitetails , I only get to fish on annual vacations to western Maryland.

@Rocco Ha, thanks Rocco...that helps to hear every now and then. Rarely hear any comments along those lines. Well, I rarely hear anything. Lol Silence. But yeahhhh....I LOVED that Brown!! The person I was with couldn't believe I released him, but better knowing he went swimming after our 'bank time," as I didn't NEED anymore fish in the freezer.😉

@Lisa lol heck no. There’s one place I know of that is stocked with a few hold overs but for the most part our waters are too warm. Therefore I target the mighty panfish!! I still need to get to the gulf coast with my fly rod.

@Lisa during winter (Dec/Jan/Feb) they will stock SMALL trout in the city ponds

@Heather Thanks Heather! He was underweight....and if my mind had been working better that day, I should have walked him over to the river he came out of.🤦‍♀️ He, and other fish, got caught in a large large pool when the river started to recede.
