Lesson Learned: Don't Give Up

Tough situation, but way to stick with it and end it. 👊Too many people would’ve given up probably, leaving a wounded buck to suffer on his own. Hopefully you go another 25 yrs without a similar event.

Thank you for not giving up til the job was done, and for sharing the reminder that things happen! I had a mess up my first day of my muley hunt and felt ridiculous for it, nobody shares those moments anymore!

@Sarah You are correct. Too many people want everyone to think they are perfect. I’ve been hunting for about 35 yrs and have killed a lot of animals. Even with all of that experience, I still screw the pooch now and then. 💩 happens. What matters is how you handle it
