I really wanted to like Kenetrek boots. I tried several they’re great. But one small problem. They are not even close to re-craftable and they cost as much as American made boots from multiple companies. They are insanely priced $500 for a pair of boots I’d crazy. I’ll support American made boots thanks. I’ve nothing against Italy or their boots but these Kenetreks are a fad. Wait 5 years and they’ll be added to the gigantic list of “good boots”

@Corey As the saying goes you get what you pay for. Kenetrek is the number one brand sheep hunters use. They’re not a fad, but are well made and keep you upright and very comfortable all day. I have scoliosis and other injuries and if it wasn’t for Kenetrek, I’d be in bad shape.

@Corey Friend of mine is a guide up in BC and he likes them so much, he has four pairs.

@Corey The only reason the boots I’ve been wearing wore down is because I used them for both hunting and walking on concrete all day. If used for only hunting they’ll last up to 15 years. Randy Newberg, famous hunter, had been using his for fifteen years.

These are the only boots I would want to test across the Craters of the Moon in Idaho. I would want a second set in my pack though. I’ve never been to any other place that looks like it could destroy a pair of boots so fast.
