@Derek haha, yeah, we’re a ways out on those too. This was a wheat field that’s about to be planted with rye. But, if silage comes off it could get hot.

@Mike all my spots here that are in the western zone where season is currently open are saying they haven't seen the birds in weeks. I'll be back out there Monday morning hoping they decide to show back up though.

I hunted over a cut silage field last weekend with some friends here in Central IL. There wasn't nearly the amount of birds that we've seen there in the past few years.
