I can absolutely confirm itβs not like riding a bike! Picked mine up last summer after a 2 year hiatus, sure was happy no one was watching that 1st weekβ¦π³

This is good advice...10 a day. I need to at least shoot for 20 at least once a week (I have to drive to the rangeπ). I shoot my compound instinctively and your photo reminds me of my groups. I am thrilled you're out there Joey. I love recurves. What brand arrows do you use?

@Lisa They are PSE Carbon Force Timber Arrows, Traditional Wood Pattern. I was gonna get wood arrows, but the archery shop guy suggested these. I love the way they look!

Thank you, Joey. I'm going to screenshot this and save it in my Archery folder. I am using Victory arrows now and like them real well. I love the look of yours. (I zoomed in and could read the arrows, just incase you were wanting to). I wanted what you wanted, but ended up carbon also

@Lisa Nice setup! I like that quiver. Iβm still on the fence about getting a quiver that mounts on the bow vs one that you wear on your back or hip.

Lars Anderson had a video showing a quiver on one's back....and that is all it took for me to not want one. This one (thanks, btw) was made by Selway Archery in Montana. My husband was married into the family of the ones who started Selway. Soooooo, long story short, he gave me this one. it snaps over your belt and you can tie it around your leg. I do really like it. However, I have only used it as it was intended 4 or 5 times. Mostly I just carry it these days

@Lisa nice! No way! That was one of the brands I was looking at. Ultimately want to use for small game hunting, so the bow mounted one would probably be best. Course that opinionβs coming from with zero experience.ππ

@Joey That's what Chris uses....let me see if you can see it on his last hunt... oh, he covered it with the scrotum sack of his elk kill

Selway, before it was sold....was just Gordie, Chris and Gordie's daughter Jodie, before she died. They worked their butts off to build the business. I'm unsure when Gordie sold it....but it was within the past 20 years I'm thinking

@Joey
Well, he wanted to sell it, π. Now he plays on his snowmobile and enjoys life! It might have been less than 20 years ago, because come to think if it, I faintly remember Chris asking me if we should try and purchase the business. And Chris and I have been married a little over 10 yearsLisa οΏ½

Good to enjoy life. Too bad you didnβt buy it, you couldβve hooked me up with one. Lol!
