Hum yea there’s so many variables that can play into it. You might want to scout your area and see if you can locate doe and buck beds, water access, game trails, and food locations. This is hat I’ve been doing. Once you get all that info then it might tell you where you should have your stand at.

There has been tons of deer harvested from the stand I sit in I just don’t know if it’s me moving or not

@JJ hum yea that’s tough, the fact that it’s a promising spot but it might be at its wits end.. 🤔 I also was gonna say if it was easy everyone would be doing it 👍🏾

To put it plainly you may not be where the deer are, perhaps they're pressured and know what to do when someone walks in. I've hunted a property where I never saw any deer from the stands so I started hunting from the ground where I thought deer would be moving and I immediately started seeing deer. Hope this helps

Only go in to check cams mid day and as little as possible and not right before season. Pay attention to the wind. Don’t let your scent blow toward where you think there coming from
