I take my son out of school for opening day of rifle her in MI. It’s all good, gotta have some fun sometimes!

I think you could easily make it a learning experience. And if it’s just to spend time with the kid(s) you don’t otherwise get to, absolutely. The limited amount they will actually learn in a day of school.

Probably asking a biased group on this platform though! 😂

I totally agree. They should have days off to hunt with dad.💯🤷‍♂️

Not only is it NOT bad, it’s good! They’ll learn more in a day out in the woods then in a month listening to some woke school teacher😏 Besides there’s very little chance in the future they’ll remember the school lesson of that day but a very good chance they’ll remember that day in the woods for the rest of their life.

I take (took) my sons out for far less exciting things than hunting! Lessons, memories, to me....far outweigh a classroom where he can make up the work! I wouldn't give it a second thought! Once they are grown......you're smart, you know where I'm going.😁 Ya just have them keep down the bragging while around teacher's the next day. lol
