I loved mine. Then they started to leak after one season of use. Bummed me out 

I made that same decision, but guess who’s got another pair of boots now one for deer 🦌 one for everything else 😂 man I even tried the giant boot sized foot warmer versions and still bout lost some toes 

@Dan Yaklin did you hit up Irish Setter to see if it was covered on warranty?

@Josh Howard yeah man, not every boot is made for every purpose. I’m ok needing two separate boots for different temps. It’s hard to come back from cold toes. 

@Jacob Knight no I didn’t bother, they didn’t warranty my redwings, so I don’t think they would warranty the setters. It’s no big deal. I live in my redwing work boots. I personally like the lacrosse better 

I hunted in some new boots this Fall and this is the first time I have used rubber/neoprene boots for hunting. I went with the Irish Setter Mudtreks, in the non-insulated version. 

At the time I bought the non-insulated version because I will use these in warmer situations more often. That was a mistake for deer season, but when I tossed a hand warmer in each boot I was fine. Of note, after hitting a couple deer, the blood washed off extremely easy.

The boots worked great and I always felt sturdy, even in the snow and mud. These guys will be put through the wringer this spring and summer for outdoor chores and fishing trips. They seem like they’ll be great for that. I definitely think they are worth a look if you are in the market for some new rubber boots.
