2nd year of going mobile and hunting out of a saddle.  Scouted an area in a river bottom the year prior. I found a spot with a lot of sign outside a large bedding area but it looked to be a couple weeks old and not really active.  This was in November after I had already filled my tag. I figured it was from mid to late October. So last year I went in to the same spot around the 15th and found some sign but nothing to get too excited about. I decided to back out and sit somewhere else. The following Friday I left work early and headed out to the spot and found it absolutely tore up with rubs and scrapes. I set up in my saddle and at about 5:30 this guy came in and worked a scrape and then walked by at about 20 yards and I drilled him.
