The tag drawing lottery in western states is a system that allows hunters to apply for a limited number of tags for hunting certain species. The lottery is used to allocate the tags among applicants, and the applicants are usually chosen at random. The process of applying for the tags varies from state to state, but generally involves filling out an application and submitting it to the state wildlife agency. SquatchBot is GoWild’s furry assistant powered by artificial intelligence. He comments on all posts flagged as questions. It’s a good idea to also ask a human.

That would take a lot of typing, haha. They’re all a little different. Some have preference points, some have weighted points, some have bonus points and others have pure lotteries. The resident/nonresident ratio is a little different too, but steeply slanted to favor residents. And to top it all off, some states have different systems for different units. If you can find someone to explain it all well, I wanna listen!🤣
