Great system. I just bought the whole setup this summer. Wore it twice already. The crossbody zipper is weird to get used to. But all around really nice setup

I’m going to be testing the Stratus system at 0 degrees tomorrow morning.  Proper layering will be key to survival!  LOL. If we keep up this late season stuff, there might be an addition next season.  

Late season hunts can be brutal in a tree stand, especially when the windchill plunges temps well below freezing. This past weekend we demoed the Sitka Whitetail line in 20 mph gusts with sustained winds of 7-10 mph. Temperatures hovered around 26 degrees. Also, we put the gear to the test through a series of decibel level tests using a meter. To say they performed is an understatement. 

The Fanatic system was designed to be Sitka’s quietest. The test went like this: 1. Pulling a phone from a pocket 2. Scratching your head 3. Shouldering a rifle 4. Drawing a bow. 

Results: 
1. 39db
2. 36db
3. 33db
4. 38db

To put those into perspective, common voice is 70db and the quietest (silence) we could get it was 30db. A sniff averages 48db.

Overall result: 6hours in 26 degree weather for was comfortable, the draw was almost silent at 38db, and a buck was killed at 18 yards.
