Honestly, 22lr is good for coyote if trapped and point blank. Hunting, it’s honestly too small. I’d go with a 243win.

Then inlay wire in the engraving then epoxy coat the stock so it will never come out, or maybe just put black stain in the engravings and linseed oil on the stock. Anyway back to the purpose of the post. I have 4-22wmr cylinders, and 3-22lr cylinders. All three came as 22lr, and I bought the 22wmr cylinders. These are my trapping and coyote guns. I rarely shoot my 270 anymore. These are more fun, and cheaper to shoot. If you are looking for a fun cheap tool for the job These are it. Wait what did you say, 6 shot cylinder with 5 rounds isn't enough? Well heritage has you covered cause they make 9 shot 22lr and 22wmr cylinders that fit all their 22 revolvers. The rifle 22 I can make 300 yard target shots, but shooting vermin I hesitate past 200 yards cause a moving 10" target is pretty hard with iron sights and a 22wmr. Anyway they are fun.
