Hare Hunting with My Cur Dogs: Fall 2021 Camp Adventures

I’d love to make a trip up there to hunt hare!! Is there a lot of public land to hunt?

@Jonathan There is a LOT of state land. The challenge is finding suitable hare habitat as most of the land is mature forest that doesn't support hare. Let me know if you ever plan on coming up and we can hook up and do some hunting

My dogs have never been hunting for hare so I’m excited to see how they would adapt. We have hunted cotton tails and swampers

I've never run swampers, but I've heard they run like hare. Big loops and they can make some big leaps. Does that sound right?
