Great shooting on a nice buck! Congratulations!🦌👍👊

Took the biggest buck of my life opening day of gun season in Arkansas. Cold weather in the 30-40s set in the day before and was going to be great hunting weather. Hopped in the stand about 6:15 waiting for it to get light. Had a button Buck come in front of me about 6:45, messed around until 7:00. Out of no where I see a rack coming down the hill straight towards me grunting like I’ve never heard before. He proceeded to kick that button Buck out of his way and walk 10 yards in front of me broad side. This is my second year revolver hunting, but I carry my rifle with me for a long shot. The hardest decision was do I use my rifle to get the for sure shot or try and take it with my revolver. When he was 20 yards away it was to late to pull the rifle up so I had to use the revolver. Couldn’t believe how it all happened and how exciting the challenge of revolver hunting is compared to rifle! Revolver is 10.5” Ruger 44 magnum.
