I always considered squirrels to be "tree rats". I have had squirrel to eat on a few different occasions and apparently (after listening to the podcast) no one knew how to cook them. The podcast peaked my interest in the little buggers and I am planning to "try them again for the first time".

@Gregg I ate a lot of squirrel growing up, just like they talked about in the podcast. Fried with gravy or in a stew or dumplings. This episode definitely got me wanting to try them in all kinds of new and creative ways.

Not only are they good to eat, squirrel hunting is a excellent way to teach kids to hunt!
