I got that same gun in a 28 gauge.  I love it.  I hunt upland only with it and it pulls fast and swings well.  I bought mine new and maybe have 1000 rounds through it.  Never experienced a problem.  I would imagine the 12 will treat you great.  Congrats on a beautiful gun.

Well, today I pulled the trigger on a new shotgun for me. It is a Franchi Instinct L made in 2012. 12 gauge. I was wondering if anyone has one or had one at one point, and what your experience with it has been with it. I payed $1000 for it, and I know it msrp's at $1500 came with case but just modified and full choke tubes. Bluing is a bit worn, but otherwise in perfect shape. And yes I bought this myself with my own money from working, and not my parent's money, so no one can think that I am a spoiled brat who gets everything I want. I buy everything for my hobbies myself with my own hard earned money, including my dog and everything else involved.
