What!?!?!? The government can’t be completely and unabashedly trusted? 😱

@Mike lol. What bothers me about this is that I've been a pretty ardent defender of TWRA though the years and there have been tons of hints and rumors surrounding their practices for awhile. Usually the accusations are around timber harvest on WMAs to which I usually just defaulted back to the "timber harvest are good for wildlife" argument, however things like this make me wonder how many of the rumors have a grain or truth. Now I'm not one to throw the baby out with the bath water and TWRA does TONs of food work but it's going to be hard to not have that niggling "what if" in the back of my head now.

@Adam yessir… I think every state game authority has a lot of smoke and a little fire. Politics shouldn’t be part of biology.

Any time there is $ involved the wildlife suffers.

The timber harvest can get very extreme especially at the WMA I’m closest to. I especially liked the pine trees that were planted years ago knowing that pine trees offer nothing for wildlife but do make a quick turnaround for logging.
