@Ricky 63🇺🇸 yea man, I might have  gotten a little spoiled with a first hunt like that, but man it's got me hooked.

Well had a good buddy helped get my first ever turkey this morning. I can see why people get so hooked on these amazing birds. What a rush to watch him come 400 yds across the field strutting and gobbling. 
Had a hen pitch down across the river about 20 yards behind us at daylight. She slowly made her way out to the field in front of us and stood at 30 yards for about 10 minutes. Had to run her off finally. Not 10 minutes later seen a white head across the field at about 400yds. He let out a gobble and went full strut and it was game on. We threw a few low volume calls and he would sound off every time. Working closer and closer after every strut. He finally got in about 30 yds and I let him have it. He jumped and turned and was slowly running away at an angle, I hit my feet running and racked another shot, stopped paced him and fired again he flipped and flapped and I made it to him. 
What a beautiful bird and I'm thankful that God gave me this opportunity this morning.
