@Ferg it was terrible! I ate half of one piece and threw it out actually. The seasoning just didn’t pair well with deer. 👎🏻

@Brad yea o temd not to mess with seasoning very much for that reason, scared il waate it. I do use a little though, althoufh not the soak overnight kind, just a dry rub and leave thatt for a while Usually cut bigger pieces as well. 4-5 pieces is enough to take up into the hills or out for the day that way, still eating a steak and burning it off as you go
