@Appalachian I haven’t now hunted since moving to Tennessee. The TWRA won’t let me take my flintlock. They said I have to wait until

@Appalachian I haven’t bowhunted since moving to Tennessee. The TWRA is quirky about me using a flintlock. 😂 I wanted to start a pilot program, but they told me I have to wait until November. 🤪

@Gobbler what do you mean? They don't want to advocate it? What do you mean by pilot program? Are you inquiring about a primitive season?

@Appalachian just having a little fun. I’ve had 3 cervical fusions from a bad vehicle accident I was in. I can’t draw a bow any more nor turn my head enough to look through a peep. Plus, it’s typically too warm for me to hunt during the bow season here. So, I wait until the muzzleloader season.

@Gobbler I hate to hear that , but you're right it can be warm the first few weeks but the back half is usually nice. It wouldn't hurt my feelings at all if they would implement a designated flintlock season for a few days before modern muzzleoder season
