Sounds like a pretty decent day all in all. Have you ever heard of tickless, they work over here in Scotland so maybe it would work just fine over there. It’s a small device that puts out ultrasonic pulses that mess with their senses apparently. All I k ow is they work here, I take it with me wen I’m out in the fields with the shotgun or in the woods at 3d n been clear of them since

@Mike yea the guy I shoot with on shotguns introduced me to them man. He had one on permanently and on his his dog and swears he’s not seen a tick bite since. Can’t swear by them personally it’s still new to me n forgot it as many times as remembered n still no tick bites hah do can’t say for sure but am thinking of this guys dog who’s everywhere ticks live and gets away with it, may e there’s something to it man. Kicks the ass of Lyme disease dude
