On Thursday, May 18th, @Paul Campbell and I woke up for another early morning and headed out to a section of public land that Paul is very familiar with. 

We did a more traditional, public land, run and gun hunt with a lot of moving and calling. Paul has much better ears than me and he did hear one gobble early, but the rest of the morning was very quiet. 

It was still great exploring this section of public that Paul is very attached to. He showed me a lot of cool spots on it, and I must say, it's an incredible section of public land. 

We ended the hunt by going to a marshland section and I saw some incredible waterfowl habitat. Lots of ducks, some geese, and we even saw three Sandhill cranes, which was awesome.
