My personal best buck ever that came from Ohio. After the 1st year being at full draw on a decent buck and having him bust me I spent the off season listening reading and learning to help hone in my skills in mountain and hill country terrain. As joe dintto stated in a podcast I listened to, "its luck but it's about setting yourself up so that luck is on your side." After shooting the buck it all clicked I used maps and some scouting After to understand how he was using the area and where he was going that morning to bed and why he was going there. Using that info as future reference hopefully I can put together many more successful hunts in my life. Yes I got lucky on this buck by setting my camera in the right place and setting up in the right place but learning from past accomplishments really help to make future accomplishments.
