I have been doing it like this for years.  Although, when I bought my newest bottle of concentrated permethrin last year it had a warning on it saying not for human use.  Interestingly, I could see nothing different in the ingredients from the previous bottle.  When I dilute mine in a spray bottle it works just as well as the expensive Sawyer’s brand.

Reposting this since the blood suckers are out. For those wanting to know the essentials of turkey hunting. Go to Tractor Supply or your local livestock supply and get permethrin 10 as shown. Mix 1/3 OZ of concentrate with 32 OZ of water in a spray bottle. Spray your clothing down and let dry. Do not spray on skin. This along with some DEET repellent on your skin will keep the ticks and mosquitoes at bay and have you sitting still which kills turkeys. This will save you a lot of money vs those spray cans. Call ‘em in close and shoot him in his face!
