    It was always a big concern to me, as my husband and I would go up high on logging roads in Montana and park his rig and get out on foot. It seemed each time we did that (for a decade), I started getting more and more concerned, much to his aggravation (as he is born, raised and lives in MT). Well one of the last times we were out, we came across a mountain lion kill. It was covered up and big ole cat prints. We owned a bobcat, and knew our cat prints. From that day on, my heartrate was always elevated.

    @Lisa that’s wild! Kind of an eerie feeling. On my first trip to Colorado, we came across a line kill with a mule deer. Very rarely do they attack people though.

    ....and yet the viral video of one going after a hiker is still seared into my head! Lol
