@Derek when you can hear their teeth popping, you’re close! Wyatt’s “uh oh” was hilariously calm. 🤣

Pst...Mike, he's a beautiful bear and I love the photos. Without a doubt you would have been able to place a perfect shot, had he charged you.

@Lisa true story, haha. He literally looked like Mr. Magoo when he stood there looking our way trying to figure out what and where we were. I told Wyatt it’s a good thing they can’t see squat or it might have got more interesting quickly. He was bluffing because he had no idea🤣

They are so stupid....BUT, with that said, I would have been hiding behind you or anyone that held the gun!🤣

@Lisa haha. It was a great experience with the kid though. He’ll never forget the encounter.

It's still a mind f for me seeing black bears that color.
Mike L

@Adam I’ve actually seen more cinnamon than black out west. And most are even deeper than this guy is. A blonde was my favorite.

We have a ton of bears down here in Florida but no color phase ones. That’s a pretty bear. Be even prettier with the rug on my floor.

That'll get your attention. Only bear we saw in CO was standing on its hind legs between out tents in the dark when we came back from eating supper a few hundred yards away 🤦

@Appalachian I really wish this area would’ve stayed quiet. Putting Wyatt in this bear would’ve been the highlight of my hunting career. I’ve seen bear every time I’ve hunted Colorado except for one.

@Mike I bet, I'm sure it's more rewarding to watch him hunt than it is yourself. Don't want my boy to grow up too fast but can't wait to get him in the woods.
Mike L

@Appalachian absolutely. He’s sitting on 12 deer points d 12 elk points so I can’t wait to go out with him when it’s his tag.
