@Charles man they’re absolutely delicious. They have a more meaty like texture and a unique somewhat nutty flavor. Have had a few that are similar in flavor to a high end dry-aged steak. Some of my friends and family that don’t like mushrooms will even eat them because of how different they are from your typical mushrooms you can get at a grocery store.

@Brian I’ve got some ground wagyu beef and I’m thinking about doing burgers with. Then cutting the mushroom in half and sautéing each piece in butter and garlic. Then using a piece to put on top of each burger patty as an extra layer.

@Joe what made it even more strange was that it was sticking directly out from the side of the creek bank. The banks are about 7’ high and that one was about 6’ up the bank.
