@Mike Thank you, but it’s not mine. Just what I’m hoping to DIY with one of my fans and some of my beards.

You have some good ones for sure.

That first way looks great and pretty easy. You can probably

@Justin just use some stained pallet wood and wood clue or brads to hold it together. Leather laces can be found at any hobby shop or boot store.

@Justin here is a link on how to dry out you turkey fan and keep it spread. https://youtu.be/bmgjjV-g-XU

@Justin thanks for the ideas. I actually have a fan spread and drying already with borax. I think I’ve actually seen that video too. Watched a bunch before I attempted to do a pheasant fan last year and my turkey this year. šŸ˜† since I’ve been hunting turkeys more, I know I’ll have to get creative on how to display them because I don’t have the wall space to do a fan for every one of them

@Tom would definitely be the one to talk to about this! I like the idea!

@Derek I was looking at this post when you tagged me šŸ˜‚. Jeanine, I don’t know how handy you are in the wood shop but if you google ā€œshelf with pegsā€ you’ll get a bunch of possibilities pre-made ready for your customization. For the fan mount you could do a state shape or a half circle with something wood burned or painted on it or an oval picture frame cut in half with an image of you and the bird in it. If you can build everything yourself then the options are unlimited. I have fans scattered all over my hunting room in the basement. Guess I should put some of my advice into action. Good luck and keep us posted on your progress.

I have some more fans in other places and I’m drying 2 more right niw from the last 2 weeks. My beard setup isn’t the prettiest but I just punch out the center of the shell ant rap tie wire around top of beard and make a hook on the other end.

    Drying these now

There’s this. But I also think Ryan Kirby art makes some cool stuff too.
