    Can’t do that in Missouri, they are protected during Turkey season for some reason

    @Billy Wow, I didn’t think they were protected any time anywhere. Sounds like Mo needs to revisit that

    @Billy You aren’t supposed to shoot anything except bearded turkeys on public land in Florida during spring turkey season. Private, as we will assume this is, is a different story.

    @Chuck This is private land. You are correct that it is not allowed on WMAs although it should be during all hunting seasons as should hogs.

    @Danny I agree, hogs should be legal in the summer but I like having the public woods solely for turkey in the spring. It would be frustrating to have a coyote or pig hunter walk all over your setup or spook roosted birds. I understand why they restrict it in the spring.
