I bought a super sweet one like a week ago. Looking at plants in the garden at night is pretty fun. Lots of them turn a bright red color.

@John My brother also has one that’s a little different that makes things other than scorpions fluoresce. I’m debating on getting it even though all I care about is looking for scorpions.

Theres certain uv lights that only light up certain things, i got a 365 and it lights up agates really well, if i got a 395 it wouldnt light them up at all.

@John Ok so you know about the different nanometers of UV light.

@Coyote i know a little bit but not a ton. Did enough research to get the one that was right for what i needed it for.

Wonder if they would work good tracking blood in the dark?

@Gerald for that I would get a light specifically for blood. Once I cut my thumb pretty good and it dripped on the way to the house. I could track the blood drops with a blood light I had. I’m not sure if a UV light would work on blood and I don’t plan on finding out any time soon 🤣

@Gerald if I have the occasion any time soon I will check and see. My brother has both a 395nm and 365nm UV flashlight. Even if it’s just a little scratch that bleeds, I will find out.
