Semi Auto definitely justifies the price. I shot pump shotguns for years, and have been shooting an automatic for the past 15yrs and I’d never go back. Recoil is less, and the quick follow up shots if needed is pretty handy. Those new Winchesters are some nice shooting shotguns.

Never had a semi auto, now I’m mostly a double gun guy. I will say that the pump is a great gun at that price. I have one in 12 and one of my sons has one in 20.

I’ve shot pumps all my life. I have always wanted to try a semiauto. Last Christmas my wife got me my first semiauto & I absolutely love it. It fits me better and I enjoy shooting it a lot more. We’ve only shot clay pigeons with it so far but I think it’s the way to go. Seems to me that it has less recoil & even my wife will shoot it longer then she ever shot the pumps. I can’t give any knowledge on the SX4. But, I’ve always heard they are good guns. I’ll give you the advice that I give anyone looking on getting a new rig weather it’s a gun or bow. Try and find folks that have the guns your interested in and try and shot them yourself. The gun I ended up with wasn’t even on my radar. But, once I shot it, I knew without a doubt it’s the one I wanted. Get something that feels good to you when you shoulder it. That away you’ll always look forward to shooting it 👊

The price on the SX4 absolutely is justified. If the money is there for it, you absolutely won’t regret it. The SX4 is the real deal and a GREAT gun for the price. Everyone I know who went SXP also really likes it.
