Anticipating Deer Hunting Season

live in Central Illinois, and I have been bowhunting public land for over a decade. I would rather scout 3 days and hunt 2 days on a 5 day hunt. My year doesn't go by months it goes by hunting and fishing seasons. If you ever find you way to central IL bowhunting let me know we can get together and hunt i would be glade show you around my stomping ground I try take 2 kids that never hunted every year hunting at my cabin and they can shoot or not shoot there in control of the hunt. I don't care what they shoot its there decision. Only killed one deer with a gun, and it was in 2020 a big doe off public land in the same field. I killed my first deer with my bow back in 2006. I owe everything to my dad. we spent my whole childhood hunting and fishing. He has been a great mentor. He is one of the best turkey callers I've ever heard. He has called all my turkeys in for me.
