@Brandon Tried to go with a lighter option, but FOV and light transmission wasn’t as good. Rifle with optics should total to 7.6 pounds. Really wanted it to be 7 pounds or close, but it didn’t work out.

Did you check out the Maven RS2 ?

@Cameron heck I don’t know if my peeped rifle is 7lbs haha. I put alot of miles on but I don’t have the mountains like you have.

@Brandon Just looked. FOV a little low. The Leupold is 56.5” at 100 yards which is 3.3 feet at 6 yards: some of my encounters are very close.

@Brandon Maine has the white mountains which are very challenging.

@Cameron yes same here. That’s why I prefer my skinner peep sight. I was having eye problems this season so I ran scope for the deer season but I got the issue squared awe.

Away. We do have the white mountains in western Maine but I hunt mostly mid coast for deer north eastern for bear

@Brandon Gotcha. There’s a dandy buck up there. I’ll have to look at the map to see where I made the pin.

Can’t go wrong with Leopold scopes. I own several and none has ever failed me. Made in USA is a big plus.
