    Bummer

    Sad. But I would be super excited to see those antlers. I kinda have a weakness for antlers and those are some beautiful ones.

    That's so sad. Hope you got to keep the antlers at least.

    @Butch well at least some use will come if them at some point. 👍

    I’m gonna be honest, that chaps my hide a little that Game and Parks took them. That wouldnt have happened if it was a deer and if you’d found shed elk antlers, you could have kept them too. So why do they get to take them in this situation?

    In MT you can have sheds and deadheads and those heads look pretty dead to me. That’s why I asked.

    @Nate this is a picture from a spray plane a couple of months ago. I believe same two elk. Game and parks we’re watching them also. They ask to take and study them! Of course we said yes just make sure we get some back 😀

    @Nate sorry wrong picture

    @Butch you’re a better man than me - I think I woulda said “leave the antlers… you can study the rest of him…” 😆 Cause you know the heads will be hung as trophies in their office!

    Agree but I don’t have room for them and have several bulls as big or bigger hung now. I just hope more migrant down this way. I would like to hunt them here one time before I go.
