That's why it's called hunting and not killing!

Any meat brought home is icing on the cake. Can’t lie, 30 would’ve been better than 3, but honestly, the days we’ve killed 30 aren’t any more memorable to me than this weekend was. It had everything but a limit and sleep🤣👊. 

As long as you have a good time with friends is all it's about. Nice to hear that you enjoyed your first goose hunt and now I figure you are hooked and it won't be long before you go again. Congratulations on bagging your first goose. Looking forward for another post of your next hunt.👍

My first goose hunt is in the books! Thank you to @Mike Larsen for the invite. Over two days I got to do it two different ways — hunting out of corn and in layouts. I got to see how to work the birds, and unfortunately saw how the Sandhill cranes push the geese out. 🤬

I love Michigan. It’s been a few years since I’ve been up and I gotta say, I want to go back already. It’s one of my favorite states. 

The guys were kind enough to give me both of the birds from the day, which I thought said a lot about the group. They felt bad my first goose hunt didn’t turn out more than 3 birds in two days, but hey, that’s hunting. 

I’ll definitely be looking to do this again.
