@Brad Luttrell that’s in the Red River Gorge, on the Raven Rock trail. Technically you do not have to pay to go, but there’s a guy who provides a parking area for $5. Recommend paying to park and supporting someone.

Please join me in welcoming @Andrew Huggins to the GoWild family. 🥳 It's kind of funny how we got here:

Andy and I go way back—we met in college working for the college newspaper. We were both staff photographers and became friends through the newspaper team's notorious parties. We also have a deep affinity for putting banana peppers on pizza.

Andy was a great photographer, but after college he started learning to code. Always a problem solver, he found his home in the code. I wasn't really a great photographer, which is probably why my career never took off like I had hoped for (the Great Recession also helped).

I went on to eventually get into advertising, then founded GoWild. Andy was doing web development.

Before I deleted my Instagram, I noticed Andy had gotten into hiking. Like, I was jealous over how much this guy got to hike. We had talked about the possibility of getting him over to GoWild if the timing was ever right. It finally happened at the end of summer this year and we're happy to have this outdoorsy problem solver on our crew.

With that said, a few questions and answers to help y'all get to know Andy.

🥾 Favorite outdoor activity?
Hiking/Backpacking

🏕️ Outdoor activity you've yet to do, but want to do?
I have lists of hikes I would like to do. I have an interest in TearDrop campers, too.

🖼️ Favorite place you've been?
This is tough, many places are beautiful, but the places I remember most fondly require a bit of context. Reaching the end of the Sheltowee Trace (~350 mile trail in KY/TN) with friends after hiking over the course of a year was pretty great.

🍕 Favorite food
Pepperoni and Banana Pepper pizza. 👨‍🍳 (Goodfellas IYKYK)

🧟‍♂️ Zombie apocalypse survival plan?
Wait for Bezos or Musk to figure out how to make money off the zombies. Obviously I would make an app, ZombieSquad, where non zombies can report zombie locations and giggers can roundup all the zombies.

🌍  Who would you want to meet in person? Dead or alive?
I would like to meet, and not meet, Diogenes

⛰️ Why'd you choose to join GoWild?
The team seemed like a small but effective team of people, and in addition to that, the opportunity to use a tech stack I was interested in were both pretty compelling.
