I hate that it’s happen in my state. I did vote no wolves on the ballot. It’s going to take every opportunity to take my kids and myself hunt before it’s all gone. 🙁

Wolves are going to be a fixture of the Colorado landscape. It was determined by the voting public by about 75,000 votes.

Colorado has a wolf population that has naturally migrated in from Wyoming but will now reintroduce wolves over the next 3-5 years starting December 30th, 2023.

The CPW Wolf management plan is out for public comment. This isn’t a situation where you can stop reintroduction but rather it’s has to happen by law. Additionally this isn’t something CPW wanted either. Remember that.

What we can do is make sure the state is prepared and ready for what this reintroduction will mean. Talking head coming this afternoon …
