Love the roof rack on the jeep. I wanted to get that one but at the time they were back ordered 11 months. Wish I had those ladders to get my tent set up easier though

This evening hunt was one of the most spontaneously intense hunts to date. I get to my climber and as I'm about to get in it to start climbing at least five does jump up about 20 yards for me. One blows and goes West, two run behind me and two run in front of me. I grabbed my crossbow throw an arrow in it. And the two behind me start running back towards me! I just settled on one that was in front of me about 35 yards. It definitely got western! From standing, I took two deep breaths and got a double lung shot dropped it instantly. So then I decide I'm going to get in the climber and wait 30 minutes. Another Doe shows up; but I couldn't get a clear shot. So I decided to get down and go recover my deer. As I get close to it another doe jumped up and ran off away from me! Upon further investigation it was actually a young fawn buck with no antlers. He had previously been shot before. You could see the low-lying clean cut underneath that had grazed his underbelly. He had been suffering with an open wound. Thankful for first meat in the freezer!
