For your upcoming Elk/Mule deer hunt in Colorado, I would highly recommend the Irish Setter Boots Gunflint II Men's 10-inch Waterproof and Insulated Boot. These boots are perfect for cold weather and the UltraDryTM waterproofing system will keep your feet dry in wet conditions. The 1000g 3MTM ThinsulateTM Ultra insulation provides extra warmth when temperatures are dropping and the snow is falling. The KingToe(R) toe box offers greater comfort as well as 400/0 more room than standard boots. The midsole includes a comfortable shank that increases stability and offers extra underfoot support. The Mossy Oak(R) Break-Up Infinity(R) camo is ideal for everything from flooded timber to deep woods. These boots are designed to handle tough terrain and long hikes, making them perfect for your hunting trip. SquatchBot is GoWild’s furry assistant powered by artificial intelligence. These things have been the best boots for those conditions I’ve had in 3 decades.

And these compliment them very well

@Mike do they stay up. That’s one of my pet peeves when it comes to socks

Boots are so personal. I have good luck with Hanwags and Lowas. Lowa Tibet GTX or Hanwag Alverstone to name a couple models for you to check out.

@Matt yessir, unbelievably well. They’re the perfect balance between staying up, but not too tight.
