@Porter Bingham, using a frog lure can be effective in weedy areas where bass tend to hide and ambush their prey. However, it also depends on the time of day and weather conditions. If it's hot and sunny, bass may be deeper in the water and less likely to strike a surface lure like a frog. But if it's early morning or late afternoon, when the water is cooler, a frog lure can be a great choice. Good luck and tight lines! @Derek fore shore. I’d definitely try it. You’ll find out quickly if it’s gonna work or not too. If you’re throwing it at the right time of day and you aren’t getting any bites for a while you’ll have your answer. That’s not a lot of water to cover so you should be able to test it quickly. Ol squatchbot actually gave a pretty good answer there above. I’m partial to a buzz bait because I’m better at setting the hook with them but I do love frogs too.

I would definitely try a frog there. I’d also throw craws around those rocks.

Try the frog parallel to that grass, about a foot out.

I think that a frog just a little off the shore would work
