@Lisa wow you actually read the whole thing. Thanks I was able to get a permit for the last week of May as well. Maybe I can get a tom to cooperate then.

  • Tom's avatar

@Adam I guess the plan was to have few folks hunting at one time for less pressure on the birds

  • Tom's avatar

@Ricky unfortunately the story was longer than our season 🤣

  • Tom's avatar

@Fit glad to bring a bit of levity to a fellow outdoorsman. 👊

  • Amy's avatar

@Tom I too enjoy the eating. 😋 I’m not excited about sitting in the rain though, so I’m hoping it clears by Friday here so I can finally try for one myself.

  • Tom's avatar

@Amy good luck out there. I know you can hunt Turkeys in the rain but that would mean I have to be in the rain. I like being dry so…. Hope your weather cooperates

First big game hunt was woodland caribou and a cow moose in Newfoundland at the age of 41. My son has been raised to respect and appreciate the hunting lifestyle. Cooking game has been the frosting on the hunting cake.
