Sorry, SquatchBot had a heavy meal this morning and needs a nap. Try again in a minute. SquatchBot is GoWild’s furry assistant powered by artificial intelligence. He comments on all posts flagged as questions. It’s a good idea to also ask a human.

For a rifle, it’s hard to beat the Ruger Americans. For a shotgun, we have had a lot good luck with the Winchester SXP.

I agree with @RKE the Ruger American is a fine budget rifle. Save your pennies and pair it with a Vortex or Leupold scope, even one of the budget scopes and you’ll have a great hunting rifle for a long time

I also agree with the ruger American. I have one in 450 bushmaster and it’s a tack driver at 100 yards and fell confident it probably the same across the board I’m with all calibers

I couldnt agree more with the Ruger American. I have the 6.5 creedmoor with a vortex 3x9 50mm scope. Also alot of mods for the Ruger American that are reasonable in price.

Agree, Ruger American; I have the RA Ranch in 350 legend, Leupold scope made for the 350 legend w/ Winchester 150 gr. It’s definitely deadly, especially for shots under 200 yds.
