    Literally just had that conversation wit my friend earlier. Without sounding harsh or weird, I think there’s gonna be some pretty strong benefits to the virus hitting. People are starting to realise how important people are now they eMate being deprived of them, what’s really important outside of career and status. I really do hope people carry through a lot of valuable lessons about what’s really important to them when things go back to normal and life gets busy again.

    1st thanks man! 2nd Thanks too, to the first responders, medical personnel, ect. 3rd I didn't realize how many folks WEREN'T apparantly essential because the number of hunters since this thing went down is gone crazy!

    @Randy Pennington absolutely. Hard to list them all but our oilfield workers would be in that list! You’re absolutely right.

    @Ferg there is data that says essential workers pay typically climbs after such events. I hope it’s true. We need to stop paying airline CEOs $10M a year and bailing them out when our grocery clerks are making minimum wage to risk their lives in helping feed my family.

    @Adam Can you clarify? You’re saying people don’t have anything to do so they’re hunting? Just making sure I understand.

    @Brad yes, I think I always assumed most hunters were blue collar and worked in essential industries anyway but that's clearly not the case with the uptick in hunters lol. I expect license data will be skewed lol

  • Brad's avatar

    @Adam there are a lot of folks who are trying it now from what I’ve seen anecdotally

    @Brad yeah Tennessee Turkey Hunters on Facebook has been abuzz with folks talking about guys hunting in blaze orange and walking in on people and stuff. It's been a weird season for sure.

  • Brad's avatar

    @Adam I hope people are supporting them. We need them

  • Adam D's avatar

    @Brad I don't think the newbies are on there much, just the bitchers lol

  • Adam D's avatar

    @Brad oh in general, yeah I don't know

    My wife is a nurse also and my son is full time EMT/firefighter. I’ve been on unemployment since before Christmas but I take layoff every winter and I’m in no hurry to go back with all this going on especially since turkey season opens this coming Wednesday 😂

  • Brad's avatar

    @Jeffrey 🤣 I hear ya. Good luck

    @Brad it’s the same over here dude. The care sector and the likes alias been privatised to death and the government have pretty much walked away from it. They count on the people that care enough to do the job to keep doing it out of a sense of duty rather than pay them what their worth or deserve man.
