Always feels good to catch up with good people and then to have a shoot like that! CCCOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMEEEEEEEEEEE OOOOOOOOOONNNNNNNNNNNNNNN! keep after em!

Met up with my college buddies and headed west to the flyway. One of my buddies lives close to the spot and kept tabs on the birds. Got in and set up with no BS that can come with public land duck hunting. Now before we even got out there my buddy had been giving reports and I could tell he was trying to downplay what it was looking like as there's nothing worse than getting everyone hyped for a dud shoot. Honestly I don't think I could have dreamed up a better shoot. Best part is despite being spread across the state we all got into waterfowling at the same time years ago, so it was nice to share such a good shoot withe the boys I started going with. We spoiled my buddies dad and brother as this was their first duck hunt. Very grateful for the opportunity and I hope to keep wearing them out the rest of season!
