Awesome congrats! I had a nice one stroll past at about 6:15 this morning on PA public land……  the full moon was great for seeing early movement. No luck after legal hours though. Haha!  Well done!!!

My first public land buck!

My fiancé and his brother put on a drive this morning at some local public land. We were out expecting to see does but managed to kick this guy up. I could hear him walking through the woods towards me but couldn’t see because of how thick it was. I heard him drop down to a clearing below me but he cut back uphill and  started moving on a diagonal towards me. He wasn’t running - just casually walking so I was able to get a clear shot without  any trouble. 

I am THRILLED with my first public land deer - but I will say I wish I was able to get it done during archery with my bow. Always next year for an archery season buck!
