    It's always important to double-check the chamber size of your gun before buying ammo. It's generally not recommended to shoot a round that is smaller than the chamber size, as it could cause damage to the gun. It's best to stick with the 3" rounds for your break action 410.     That shouldn’t pose any issues. You can shoot shorter shells in a shotgun but you can’t shoot longer shells than marked on the barrel.

    As far as I know that should be fine. I shoot mini shells out of my 12 gauge mossberg chambered for 3” shells all the time. I just have to use an adapter for feeding purposes but with a break action that’s a non issue.

    Great. Thanks guys. I was mad that I messed up. I thought the chamber was stamped both sizes. I couldn’t find .410 anywhere by me. I had to order online and have it shipped to a local dealer. So annoying
