On that particular day we made a 19 mile circle mule back before we struck this females track.  It was a short track and and we popped her up out of her bed.  It was a warm summer day and we had been waiting about three hours for the biologist to show up to put a collar on her and apparently Loot found it easier to tree laying down.   The yellow dog next to him was just a pup and found a nap was necessary.  That’s why I never claim to have “tree dogs”. 😂
