    So glad to hear you like the rod!

    Love to see that. I’m a fan of fishing small creeks. Might need to pick up one of those Vexan rods.

    Congratulations! That is a really nice bronzeback!👍👊

    I'm telling you right now man you can't beat a smallmouth!

    @Adam truth

    @David thanks buddy.

    @Jacob I really enjoy fishing moving water for them, especially wading

    @Adam same here. Angry fish in the current on some lighter tackle or a fly rod makes a 10 incher feel like 20 sometimes. There’s a lot of good smallie water down by you.

    That’s awesome! This is the reason why I like fishing ripples in a creek

    @Adam Except carp and white bass fight harder. And almost all saltwater fish fight harder (including stripers with saltwater here).

    @John I agree with @Adam on this one. Fighting reds is fun in saltwater, but smallies always seem like a bloody knuckle street fight in current.

    @Jacob Smallies are fun. Especially on ultralight, but until you’ve a big Jack Crevalle rip 300 yards of 20 pound test off your reel in 30 seconds you haven’t seen a street brawl.

    @Adam 🤣😂
