    This is an excellent picture to demonstrate why a gobbler may have 1 1/4” spurs but a 4” beard. In places where turkeys and deep snow occur, those beards ice up and break off. One more of the reasons on the enormously long list of reasons why I dislike the winter. πŸ€ͺπŸ˜‚
