John Hunter Signature Series Rod
Professional Angler, John Hunter, has designed this rod to satisfy an angler's need for a rod to conquer an array of techniques. It is what its name implies – a rod for baits that “hunt”.
The Hunter Rod
The Model TM8427 can be put to use for multiple different techniques and provides anglers with the confidence that it's the right stick for each one. The medium power mag blank does it all. It has the right action throughout to conquer the proper loading for landing bites and launching lighter baits, yet has the power on the lower half of the rod to handle and land giant fish!
7' Fast, Medium
The 7′ rod is what gives it its versatility- its short enough to use for a jerkbait and to roll cost topwaters in tight cover, yet long enough to make long cast with the crankbaits and swimbaits and be able to handle those bites on the very end of a cast.
The mag medium is a gamechanger. There is just no other blank out there that lets us use the same blank for both power-fishing moving baits and finesse baits. This blank truly is the most versatile of its kind and allow you to simplify your rod locker and take a more “one rod” approach to fishing. Less time worrying about what rod to use, and more time thinking about where the fish live and what bait will catch them.
